This is less about following my website/blog theme of being
challenging, encouraging, and inspiring to Live Out Loud for
Jesus, and more to let you
know that I’m still here.
So much has happened
in my life over the past few months, that writing anything has been difficult
(death of two loved ones in a week, children & grandchildren came for a
fabulous family vacation, and the start of our relocation).
Our hearts ache to
leave Montana so soon because we have more awesome people to meet… more places
to see on our visit list…more joy of living in this wonderfully quiet place. An
old song has become our hearts’ theme: Merle Haggard’s “Big City”
But God has other
plans for us. He has awesome people…beautiful places…and a new life in Colorado
awaiting us. And by the end of this month, we’ll be humming John Denver’s “Rocky
Mountain High”
If you've followed my posting at all over
the past 18 months, you know the crazy journey my husband and I have been on.
If not, I won’t bore you with those events and let you read them if you chose to.What I can tell you is that when life is confusing, we must:
“Trust the Lord with all your heart,
and don’t depend on your own understanding.
Remember the Lord in all you do,
and he will give you success.” Proverbs 3:5-6
and don’t depend on your own understanding.
Remember the Lord in all you do,
and he will give you success.” Proverbs 3:5-6
“Walk by faith, and not by sight.” 2
Corinthians 5:7
“…forgetting what lies behind and
reaching forward to what lies ahead,
reaching forward to what lies ahead,
I press on toward the goal...” Philippians
3:13-14
Trust without understanding...
Live by what I
believe, not by what I can see...
Let go of the past and move toward the future.
And sort, organize, and repack…what the
movers won’t take and what we want to keep with us.
God bless you on your journey.
